Permanent makeup

Permanent makeup is another term for ‘cosmetic tattooing’, ‘micropigmentation’ or semi-permanent makeup’ and commonly applied to the eyebrows, eyes and lips.

The process involves a highly-skilled professional using a specialised tool or needle cartridge to gently deposit pigment into the desired area.

The effects of permanent makeup vary according to individual preference. Some people may opt for a natural enhancement of their features, whilst others prefer a more ‘made-up’ look (for best results it is recommended to build up the intensity over several appointments).

Whatever you choose, with permanent makeup you will achieve a fresh, anti-ageing effect; allowing you to wake up every morning with the knowledge that you are looking your natural best.

You will be consulted throughout the process to ensure that you achieve the best look tailored to you.

What is Microblading?

Also known as ‘eyebrow embroidery’ or ‘feather brows’, Microblading is a manual method of permanent makeup for the eyebrows.

It entails using a handheld tool with several nano-needles that gently scratch the pigment into the skin, creating very fine strokes that mimic brow hairs.

Microblading is the perfect treatment for anyone looking to enhance their existing eyebrows, as each stroke is created with precision to blend in with your eyebrow hairs.

What are Ombre Powder brows?

Ombre powder brows are a technique whereby a tiny nano-needle which is attached to a device is used to deposit and layer micro-dots of pigment into the skin, filling out the sparser areas of the brows. After the brows have settled from the treatment, the brow has a very soft powdered finish with no harsh lines. It is also possible to build up the intensity over several sessions to create a more defined look.

Combination eyebrows / Hyperealism eyebrows

A combination of strokes beautifully blended together with subtle shading, giving depth and fullness to the eyebrows. The most desirable method for anyone looking to achieve super natural effect.

Lip blush

Pigment is hand-blended to your desired colour, then implanted softly to create more symmetry and definition, enhancing your natural lip. This treatment is perfect for any woman or man who lacks lip definition, or who wants to make their lip colour pop.

Eyelash enhancement

Also known as ‘invisible eyeliner’, pigment is implanted along the lash line to give the illusion of fuller, darker lashes. This subtle treatment helps make the eyes look bigger and more defined.

Shaded eyeliner

A little more definition compared to having just an eyelash enhancement, this method includes soft whip-shading to elongate and enhance the eye shape.

What is Precision eyebrow shaping by Emma Tay?

Everyone should know that eyebrows frame the face, and to have good eyebrows is to instantly lift your entire look.

This treatment is great for in-between permanent makeup appointments to clean up stray hairs or for anyone wanting to grow and shape their eyebrows before considering permanent makeup.

This treatment can include any of the following: Bespoke eyebrow shaping using thread, tweezing, trimming, tinting (a patch test for tinting must be done at least 24 hours before) light pencilling on the eyebrows to finish off.

Mesotherapy with Glycolic skin peel.

My personal favourite skin treatment!

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine injections of vitamins, minerals, growth factors, amino acids and hyloronic acids are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin using a nappage technique. Mesotherapy instantly improves dull, tired looking skin while providing instant deep hydration. Gives the skin the most beautiful glow that keeps on improving!

- Improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

- Skin texture is instantly smoother

- Improves skin radiance and evens out the complexion

- Helps to reduce dark circles and puffiness under the eyes.

- Helps to improve pigmentation and acne scars

I love combining Mesotherapy with a superficial glycolic peel which removes dead skin cells and has an antibacterial effect on the skin.

For best results, a course of 6 monthly sessions are advised then maintenance once every 6 months. This treatment is usually extremely tolerated without much discomfort and downtime.
